Community Outreach and Involvement
At Pentecost Global Methodist Church, we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in the Winder community and beyond. Through service, generosity, and partnership, we seek to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us. We support a number of local organizations and community efforts throughout the year. Below are a few of the organizations and efforts we are especially privileged to support.
Northeast Georgia
Homeless Veterans Shelter
The Northeast Georgia Homeless Veterans Shelter provides shelter, food, support, and job skills training to homeless veterans and their families in our community. The shelter helps veterans find employment and work toward permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
Samaritan’s Purse
International Relief
Samaritan’s Purse provides practical help and spiritual support to individuals and families affected by natural disasters and other crises. Through staff and volunteers, they provide emergency assistance, cleanup, rebuilding, and compassionate care while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with those in need.
Venezuela
Now, Inc.
Venezuela Now, Inc. supports the work of the Church in Venezuela by equipping local leaders and providing resources for ministry, education, medical care, and humanitarian outreach. Venezuela Now seeks to share the transforming love and hope of Jesus Christ with communities throughout Venezuela.
